If the speakers are on your desk, chances are you're not far away from them crank them over 40% volume. While at higher volumes you will feel the effects of the speaker through the table, I don't think it's a realistic scenario. What about decupling? Since that's what we're interested in while producing, mixing or mastering, it does a very good job. Having floor to speaker stands wasn't an option so this worked wonders. They also give a larger sense of space to my desk. The construction is solid very visually appealing, they look amazing under my black HS7's the provide a clean look with functionality as well. I had doubts if this would or wouldn't fit on my speakers but after reading some reviews most said they're fine so I decided to go with them.

Anything from the HS8's onward in terms of size might require the bigger version of this.

And if you are wondering yes, anything of the same relative size will do fine on these speakers. I use these stand with a pair of Yamaha HS7's. I've found their products to be very good! The K&M brand has in my opinion a very good place with musicians.
